LONESOME

Before Flying Duo, there was Lonesome

Lonesome is a visual poem written and performed by Emma Brunet-Campain, edited and directed by Robyn Faye and produced by Charly Faye. The trio collaborated on a short film together, Flying Duo, in March 2024. The dialogue in this film was developed from an original poem, and the three of them decided to record the poem and combine it with their excess footage.

The Journey

In September 2024 the visual poem Lonesome was submitted to the BBC via their upload platform. Thankfully, they loved it, and BBC Berkshire chose to broadcast the audio recording live on air. At the same time, Robyn and Charly Faye were invited to be interviewed by Alice Dale live on BBC London, recording at the main Broadcasting House just off Oxford Street.

FLYING DUO filmed in March 2024 and is currently in post-production. Robyn, alongside the writer Emma Brunet-Campain and producer Charly Faye, is currently fundraising for the project. If you would like to support her work any donations (no matter how small!) to the GoFundMe would be greatly appreciated.
