Take

THREE SONGS.
THREE VISUALISERS. THREE VISIONS.

Charly has written several concepts for a series of visual work for the music artist Samfire. Alongside the main music video for the title song, Father, this involved visualisers for three songs: Vision, Reprise, and Take. Creating intimate performance videos intertwined with narrative elements, each song has its own distinct visual style and story.

TAKE

Credits

"Take is my retribution song. It's not a snapshot of my proudest moment, but oh well, there are worse things I could do. Despite capturing the 'end' of something, it's not a sad song and i love how its sinister side is masked by a euphoric, almost addictive quality."
- SAMFIRE
Shot on a mix of super 8 and digital, 'TAKE' is a candle lit and intimate video.

Reprise

Released 17th July 2026

Credits

"Reprise is one of the darkest songs in this next chapter. A song about trying to recreate a feeling by obsessively replaying the moment you first felt it. Much of it was made late at night, surrounded by heavy bass and the trip-hop records I've always loved."

- SAMFIRE

With imagery inspired by the 2006 film of the same name, the video uses repetition to tell a story.
